After a month of pure, unabashed AWKWARDness, Story Story Night is switching gears, and boldly going where only the bold (or blindsided) man or woman has gone before. Get in on the thrilling action of May 28’s blockbuster theme LEGENDS: Stories of Heroes and Epics.
Take courage, and enter to be a featured storyteller for this show by emailing your true Odyssey of a story on the theme to story@storystorynight.com by the deadline of Monday, May 7, 2012. For an easy way to enter, use our “What’s Your Story” form.
So… What is your story? In what fires where you forged? Perhaps you overcame poverty, class differences and war to be reunited with the one you love. Maybe an unassuming teenage student of yours inspired you to kick your drug habit and view yourself in a more positive light. Or maybe, just maybe you outwitted a manipulative millionaire wife-killer played by Anthony Hopkins and proved that good does conquer over evil.... OK, OK, so what if we’re just rattling off Ryan Gosling plots, he is so super-hot right now.
Story Story Night knows that within each and every one of us lies a story of epic proportions, so please do tell... The journey is the destination. Go on.
Learn more about becoming a featured storyteller (and all the great prizes you’ll get), and more about our fun and FREE Studio, our storytelling workshop held on the 3rd Monday of every month (this month on May 21) at the Union Block executive center at 720 W. Idaho St, right across the hall from the Rose Room, starting at 7 pm. Build up the nerve. Take the quantum leap.
