Ahhh, the ’90s. Back in the day, we all just wanted Jennifer Aniston Friends’ hair. A blank VHS to record the latest episode of Fresh Price of Bel Air. And a 6-disc CD changer to endlessly rotate Nirvana’s Nevermind, Green Day’s Dookie, and Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill . We’d call them simpler times, if not for the PTSD flashbacks of the AOL sound when attempting to dial up an internet connection.
On Tues. Jan. 28 at JUMP in downtown Boise, relive the bomb times at Story Story Night’s The 90s. The show starts at 7 pm, with doors open at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Yummy concessions and wine/beer will be available.
With host Jodi Eichelberger, Radio Boise DJ Jason Pretty Boy from “Inner Workings”, plus 3 featured storytellers intermixed with an open story slam, it’s all that and a bag of chips.
